Extract Pages

Save selected pages as a new PDF.

How to extract pages

  1. Upload your PDF

Drop your PDF onto the page or click 'Select files'. All pages appear as thumbnails.

  2. Select pages to keep

Tap the pages you want in your new PDF. Selected pages are highlighted with a checkmark.

  3. Extract and download

Click 'Extract Pages'. A new PDF containing only your selected pages downloads immediately.

Extract Pages is the quickest way to pull a specific section out of a longer document — a single chapter from a book, the signature page from a contract, or the diagrams from a technical report.

How it works

The tool loads every page as a visual thumbnail. You tap the ones you want, and the result is a new PDF containing only those pages in their original order. The source file is never modified.

When to use Extract vs Remove

If you want to keep most of a document and trim a few pages, use Remove Pages — it is faster to deselect a few. If you want a small slice of a large document, Extract Pages is the right choice — tap only what you need.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between Extract Pages and Remove Pages?
Extract Pages lets you choose the pages you want to keep — everything else is discarded. Remove Pages lets you choose the pages to delete — everything else is kept. Use Extract when you want a small subset of a large document.
Does the extracted PDF preserve the original page order?
Yes — pages appear in the extracted PDF in the same order they appear in the original, regardless of the order you selected them.
Can I extract non-consecutive pages?
Yes. Tap any combination of pages in any order — the tool handles the rest.
Is there a minimum number of pages I must select?
You need to select at least one page before the Extract button becomes active.
Can I extract pages and then merge them with another PDF?
Yes — extract first, download the result, then use the Merge PDF tool to combine it with another file.
